Coming next - Dreams of the old Ones
Dreams of the Old Ones transports you to the 1920s — an age of jazz, shadows, and secrets — where beneath the surface of modern life stir ancient forces older than humanity itself. In this world, sanity is fragile, reality bends under unseen influences, and every whispered name or half-buried cult ritual could unravel the truth of existence.
From the mist-choked streets of Arkham to the storm-battered docks of Innsmouth and the desolate hills of Dunwich, investigators, scholars, and ordinary souls are drawn into mysteries beyond comprehension. Here, the Old Ones do not simply threaten life — they threaten meaning itself.
Caught between skeptical authorities, secret cults, and the madness of forbidden knowledge, you must decide your path: search for answers, protect the innocent, or risk everything by peering too long into the abyss. In Dreams of the Old Ones, survival is never certain, and victory may come at the cost of your very mind.

Loom - Woven Worlds
Step into a realm forever shaped by the Loom of Creation, where new lands emerge even as ancient kingdoms fade. In this ever-evolving tapestry, you’ll ally with (or oppose) moth-like Bombyx sorcerers, majestic Drakes, and resourceful Humans forging great cities—all while mysterious forces vie for control of reality itself.
Your story begins amidst shifting frontiers, chaotic magic, and cultural clashes. Will you harness the creative power of Weaving to reshape destinies, or embrace the rebellious art of Cutting to free yourself from fate? Every choice weaves another thread into Loom’s grand design.
Answer the call—and discover a world where your actions truly matter, and where the tapestry of existence is yours to unravel.

Dreams of the Old Ones
Step into a world where cryptic tomes and eerie whispers hint at cosmic terrors beyond human comprehension. As a lone investigator, you’ll sift through forbidden manuscripts, shadowy cults, and twisted rituals, each revelation gnawing at your sanity. Will you cling to reason as you unearth the truth of Cthulhu and the Great Old Ones?
Yet there is another path, one that delves into the madness. You can assume the role of a devoted cultist, rising through dark ranks and performing eldritch rites in an attempt to awaken your dread masters. Each choice pulls you deeper into nightmare realms or offers a slim chance to avert doom.
Dare to look beyond the veil, and brace yourself for horrors that defy all mortal understanding.

King Kong Skull island
King Kong transports you to the 1930s, when explorers, filmmakers, and fortune seekers sail into the unknown — and find Skull Island. Hidden behind storms and fog, this primeval land is home to towering dinosaurs, colossal predators, and the legendary ape god himself.
Your journey begins on the shores of this forbidden world, where every step inland reveals wonders and terrors.
If you endure Skull Island’s trials — or capture Kong — the adventure follows you back to 1930s New York. There, awe turns to tragedy as Kong is paraded as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” until chains snap and the city itself becomes a battleground.
In King Kong, the line between discovery and disaster is razor-thin. Will you respect nature’s fury, or exploit it — and pay the price?

Sherlock Holmes
Venture into the fog-shrouded streets of Victorian London, where devious criminals lurk behind every corner.
As Dr. Watson, you’re more than just an onlooker—you’re the indispensable partner of the greatest detective himself. Investigate crime scenes, gather clues, and propose theories to help Holmes crack each case, whether it’s a classic from Arthur Conan Doyle’s original tales, a variant twist on familiar mysteries, or a brand-new enigma.
Your deductions are scored against Holmes’s meticulous standards, pushing you to hone your observation and reasoning skills. Will your insights one day rival the master’s, or will you always remain a step behind?
Embrace the challenge, and see if you can rise to become a detective in your own right.

Cyber Edge
Plunge into a neon-soaked sprawl where towering megacorporations rule from glittering heights, and the undercity teems with gangs and desperate souls. You are a lone survivor, forging uneasy alliances with hackers, street docs, and black-market brokers. Each mission—whether smuggling contraband or exposing corporate secrets—earns you just enough credits for the next cybernetic upgrade.
Yet every enhancement comes with a cost. As you push deeper into the city’s hidden conspiracies, you face a stark choice: cling to your last shred of humanity or chase raw power at any price. Will you fight for the voiceless masses, or carve your own ruthless empire amidst shifting alliances?
Jack in, tune your reflexes, and seize control of the data streams that shape the future—if you dare.

Hyde
Enter the fog-shrouded streets of Victorian London, where polite society coexists with unspeakable horrors. Scientific obsessions have birthed grotesque transformations, just like Dr. Jekyll’s infamous alter ego, Mr. Hyde. Will you embrace your dual nature, shifting from respected doctor to night-stalking fiend? Or will you unveil a new monstrosity born of strange experiments gone awry?
Not all must walk the path of the creature. You may choose to be an intrepid investigator, racing to unmask these lurking threats before they strike again. Every choice shapes the city’s fate—each action pushing you deeper into madness, or offering a faint glimmer of salvation.
Dare to cross the threshold, and discover how far your soul can bend before it breaks.

Wonders
Step into a contemporary world where extraordinary powers have shifted the very fabric of society. As an ordinary individual, you’ll gradually discover hidden abilities—emerging one by one as you confront challenges and forge new alliances. Will your journey lead you to become a beacon of hope, a vigilante on the fringes, or a villain driven by self-interest?
Character creation is key. Through guided questions, you’ll shape the nature of your budding powers, while keeping enough mystery to fuel surprises along the way. Join forces with like-minded heroes to defend cities from catastrophic threats, or follow a darker path that bends the world to your will. Each decision you make alters your destiny—and the fate of countless others caught in the crossfire.
Seize your potential, and decide just how far you’ll go when limitless power is placed in your hands.

Lawless Frontier
Travel back to the brutal days a few years before the Civil War, where dusty trails and untamed territories breed both hope and despair. Colonists, soldiers, Mormons, prospectors, and cowboys all battle for a piece of this sprawling land, forging uneasy truces—or clashing in deadly shootouts over scarce resources. The line between justice and vengeance is razor-thin, and lives can be lost over a single misstep.
Whispers tell of ancient magic practiced by Indigenous tribes, where rituals and visions may alter the fate of those brave or foolish enough to seek them out. Will you become a steadfast defender of the vulnerable, a ruthless gunslinger carving out an empire, or a wanderer caught between worlds?
Ride into the unknown, and discover who you truly are when the frontier offers no mercy.

Playtest was very fun! I was very impressed with how the game master would respond to parts of my entire message. Usually nothing I said was left out or forgotten.

My game was fun overall. It got kinda buggy towards the end, but I enjoyed what I saw. I would have enjoyed finishing the whole quest.

Been trying to find a way to solo play. Thought I’d give this a try.

I am pleasantly surprised. I need to get into the lore a bit so I can get fully immersed but l am impressed. I also like the fact that I can pick it up and put it down as I need.

I was writing everything on my phone, so I was perhaps a bit brief in my prompts but overall I really enjoyed it; the concept is awesome 😄 A multiplayer version would be intriguing 👀 Thanks for the playtest 💕

That was fun. But I think that I was too engrossed in role-playing and wasted a lot of my time looking for information rather than action. Good lesson to learn.

Already started my first campaign and gotta say I’m loving it, the chance to play a lazy slob AS A CHARACTER OPTION blew my mind!

Seems to me like the system is good at consistency and staying 'locked in' on the story, but seems like it doesn't want to let the tone shift. The constant tension the game currently maintains seems untennable for long-term storytelling.

This is what AI was meant for in my opinion. I cannot wait to have more options available as well.

I've just completed the storyline based in Kesi. The storyline is good and I enjoyed playing. The interactions with the NPCs worked well and I didn't even think to check my Inventory! Having checked the Master of Lore website, it looks like there are many different worlds and scenarios to choose from. I'm really interested to find out what's happening in the future.

I definitely am liking this so far, I’m actually kind of looking forward to the final product when it’s out of beta!

i reached my thread limit yesterday and am so sad. As soon as I started to understand the boundaries of what was possible a little bit more, I started to feel way more immersed in my game and a little bit (a lot a bit) addicted. any idea when we'll be able to play more?

I appreciate the Loremaster’s responses when you’re attempting something that you can’t do or how it asks for a more specific action if it needs it. I see lots of potential and can’t wait to see where the project goes!

In certain cases, it’s helpful to be a bit more lengthy in your prompts. Like ask it what actualy happens. Also, you gotta take the risk sometimes, dice rerolls make it pretty safe.
